The Stedelijk Shirt - The Eli Monster

It is time for all the SALES!!!! The Eli monster is running some awesome sales right now too. Lets get onto the pattern at hand though. We are taking a look at the Stedelijk Dress shirt pattern. This is a classic button down shirt pattern it comes with 2 hem lines a a tucked shirt or a un tucked and 2 darts in the back a dress knife pleat (which I did) and a casual pleat. One sleeve length with a wonderfully written sleeve placket which I have never done before and got on the first try since she wrote it so well!

It has the option to do some contrast pieces which I did just to break up the super bold stripe fabric we picked out to go with it. Both of the boys have the un-tucked hemline and dress pleat in the back. The pattern was written so well and it came out into a classic dress shirt with all the details.

I would recommend this one for sure. With a dress shirt I do recommend to make sure you use your pins. I normally don't since it takes time i don't want to deal with but with these i did and it made the details all that more crisp and wonderful.
