Coffee and Tea Cardigan - Annelaine Patterns
The cardigan season is upon us! Break out all those amazing sweater knits and hacci. This single brushed hacci from So Sew English the drape is amazing and it is so soft! It is on the thinner side of knits so don't expect a wear out in the snow. Now on to the pattern side of things.
This pattern has many options the "Coffee" is a strait hem line that comes in short ( which I made) and a long one, and the "Tea" is a curved hem in both long and short lengths. Two sleeve options as well there is a fitted sleeve with an option of a cuff or a relaxed sleeve which doesn't have a cuff option but I added a cuff to my relaxed sleeve since I forgot to lengthen the sleeves for my long arms. I love the cuff actually and will probably do it all the time, it isn't super tight but holds the sleeve on my arm since I push up my sleeves a lot. To do that I just added an inch to the width of the existing cuff measurements that are in the pattern.
This pattern is written wonderfully and works up so fast! The pockets are optional but are HUGE! I can fit so much stuff in there. I do want to try and make the Tea version of it. This pattern is written for a 5'5" frame which is why my cardigan is so short since I am 5'9" and in the measurements it doesn't tell you the finished length or what height it is designed for.
I am lucky to have pretty good photos of this because of my wonderful little sister who I begged to come and visit me and tell me how to stand so my mama belly wasn't hanging out HA HA. An added bonus for you guys is a blooper from my photo shoot with 2 little naughty monsters.
