Potato Chip Shorts and Pants - Tie Dye Diva Patterns

I am happy to say I have teamed up with Tie Dye Diva Patterns I will be making their patterns and let you guys in on all their upcoming/current sales on patterns! Follow my affiliate links from this blog to get to their site and this specific patterns page ( plus if you buy from that link it helps keep this blog going and thank you!)

The Potato Chip Shorts and Pant pattern is a unisex pattern for sizes 12 month - 9/10 years. Do not go buy ready to wear (RTW from now on) sizes you can find the measurement chart here so you can select the correct sizes to have a perfectly fitting pant/shorts, and if your child doesn't fit in one solid size chose the size that fits the hip measurement and the instructions teach you how to lengthen or shorten to your needs ( how cool is that!)

The features of this short is a faux pocket on back (my son said it was cruel to tease him with pocket flaps and no pockets, welcome to a females daily struggles dude) i used snaps as closures but instructions also tell you how to do buttons instead. the waist band is flat on the front and elastic on the back which gives the pants an nice clean look. There is the optional belt loops and knotted belt as well which is shown on the pink pair. Front pockets are a perfect size for little hands and small enough that they can't fit to many rocks inside and forget about just to find in your washer later that week.

The pattern is easy to tape together with the diamond guides that are printed on the paper and this pattern comes equipped with the layers feature so you can chose to only print one size. Directions were easy to follow and if you decide to do the top stitching listed as optional it really makes the garment look "of the rack" professional. I would rate this as a beginner/intermediate skill pattern.

Get the pattern here on sale today ( 8/3/18) till monday ( 8/6/18) for only $5! a great steal and perfect pattern for all year around wear. Perfect look for playtime in the park and school.
