Kids Berlin Tee- Toby K Patterns

I have been so crazy busy since moving back to my hometown area plus having both kids home all the time since it is summer doesn't make finding time to actually work any easier either. My oldest has also informed me that he wants me to make all his school cloths this year as well so along with this job, pattern testings, and being an ambassador to a pattern company (more to come out about that at a later time) as well as making school clothing I have been running around like a chicken without a head. I stuck the kids with a video game so I can maybe take 20 minutes of time to write this, wish me luck!

I was picked in June to pattern test for the first time for Toby K patterns witch caters to boy patterns YAY as a boy mom this excites me a ton since there are so many more girl patterns out there. This shirt also can be purchased in men's sizes as well.

This shirt comes in an array of options such as tanks, long sleeve, v-neck, crew neck, zippered hood, strait hem and asymmetrical hem also comes with thumb hole cuffs! I love being able to buy one pattern and make many styles I feel like I get more bang for my buck not that it stops me from buying other patterns ha ha.

Pattern testing was LONG but of course since all us testers had to make about 3 shirts or more you know it has been tested thoroughly and the pattern comes out perfect at the end which saves alot of headache for you guys in the long run. The designers you can tell take pride in making sure it is written well and pieces fit perfectly.

Now on to the pattern fit, making and such review. The shirt is a slim fit i made a few (out of thin cotton knits) to my sons measurements and it fits perfectly but not alot of wiggle room so if he grows it won't fit at all. I also made one for my youngest son out of french terry which is thicker and more of a sweatshirt material he loves it but I would suggest going up a size if you use a thicker material as it is snug. Pattern was written well and I loved the way they did the thumb holes I have done one before from another designer and it was horrible . Directions were clear and helpful and I didn't have any problems with finishing the garments.

It was 100 degrees photo day and my youngest was a champ for wearing long sleeves and pants!
