Miss Kitty handbag by American Stitchers review
Hang on with me while I write my first blog post I am not one with the words. My First review will be on the Miss Kitty bag by american stitchers ( find the pattern here ). I am not new to bags when I started this pattern for the first time, I made at least 7 other style bags (different designers) before this one and it is on the harder side. The bag is a concealed carry handbag pattern which is the reason why it was more difficult than any other hand bag I had made because of the hidden pockets and don't get me started about the birthing of the bag! Instructions were written decently well some steps I had difficult with understanding what she was trying to say and figured it out on my own which is where my previous experience came in handy. There are photos included in the instructions but I did wish there were more when the instructions weren't as detailed as I would have preferred.
I loved that this bag pattern came with options. It came with 2 options for the outer pocket which opened up alot of room for personal style. I also enjoyed that in the pattern she also informs you when to do embellishments like embroidery.
Overall I LOVE the outcome it takes alot of time and patience but it is worth it in the long run. I currently carry this bag as my every day and the hidden CC pockets are great for hiding traveling documents during flights and it also hides candy really well from your children.
I have done a sew along with this pattern on my private facebook page for videos request to join here and you can follow along!
